 YACS stands for Young Adults in Christ's Service. We are a group of high school kids who are crazy about Jesus and want to serve Him! We meet regularly on Wednesday nights throughout the school year for service projects, fun nights, Bible study and catechism with Pastor Jeff, fundraisers, and lots more. Sometimes we meet on Thursdays. Sometimes we do stuff on Saturdays. You never know what we're up to!

 Some of our 2008-2009 Events:

• Amazing Race Nights
• 5K "Running of the YACS" (last Saturday in September)
• Group Workcamps Trip to the Niagara Falls region (Summer 2010)
• Youth Unlimited Convention in Bozeman, MT
• Overnight retreats on Labor Day and President's Day Weekends
  
• Service projects helping elderly in the congregation
• Attending the Chris Tomlin and Remedy Drive concerts, and much more!
• Duct Tape and Bubble Wrap Nights
• Ice Skating on New Year's Eve in Des Moines
• Movie on the Lawn at church
• Participating in a live nativity

                                         ....and lots more!

YACS are always busy and always going! Come join a group of kids who love the Lord and are eager to serve Him!
